Thank you for showing an interest on our Fiction Writing Workshop

The WWAC will host thirteen two-hour workshop sessions, beginning Sept. 15, 2008 at 6:30 pm, for serious writers of fiction, any genre. If you are ready to publish, have published, or keep getting rejected for publishing, this class is for you.

We discourage beginners, but encourage everyone else.

The workshop is predicated on the notion that you understand plot, narration, the stuff you learned in high school and undergraduate writing classes, but just can't seem to get the work elevated to that level of craft that gets published. We intend to work with one manuscript per student, over and over, to identify those areas that most want polishing or change.

The workshop will be hosted at the WWAC facility on 2nd and Cooper (bring quarters for the first week, there are parking meters!) in Camden, on Monday evenings beginning 6:30pm sharp. Professionals are always on time, prepared, and aware how integral he or she is to the team.

A fee of $45.00 is required, payable by check or money order to: The Walt Whitman Arts Center, at the first class visit. Admission is tax deductible. Attendees will be notified by the SASE

No ms will be returned except to attendees, but you may collect the ms at the Center between 10am and 4pm daily.

Workshop limited to fourteen participants.

There is still available seating.
